Being from Southern Alberta I hear way too much about the Flames for my liking. Calgary trades away Iginla to start a rebuild and although the reaction was mixed, all fans were looking forward to a high odds lottery pick. Calgary was in last place in their conference and I think 2nd last overall at the time. Radio hosts blatantly cheering for losses for a better pick. I don't blame them. How does the Flames respond? They start playing the best hockey of their year and move up in the standings. Currently they just moved ahead of their division rival Edmonton as the Oilers were officially emilinated last night.
